Hi! My name is Sasha.

I’m passionate about using Art Therapy to help people illuminate parts of themselves that have been buried in the darkness of trauma.

As a Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) for over 14 years, I’ve helped over 10,000 clients safely express emotions & experiences that were once too painful & complex to put into words.

Trauma can trap us in silence, making it hard to communicate what we’ve been through. But when we create — whether through painting, drawing, or any other art form — we begin to express what words can’t touch.

Sasha Malcolm

I used to believe that I wasn’t worthy of love.

For much of my life, I felt invisible – like my voice didn’t matter. I hid so much of myself from the world and felt incredibly lonely.

At a young age, I concluded that I didn’t deserve the love and care that I craved so deeply.

That’s when I personally delved into Art as a way to process my emotions and express myself in ways that weren’t accepted by my outer world.

Healing needs to happen in relationships.

Trauma can be isolating, especially when you’ve done years of therapy and still feel stuck & misunderstood.

As human beings, we function in a relational world. True healing cannot happen alone.

Art Therapy in a group setting is a shared experience of healing. Creating together builds deep connection, reminding us that we’re not alone in our pain.

The collective energy of the group fosters a sense of belonging, where everyone can share their story & release emotions without fear of judgment. The mutual support is incredibly empowering, helping each person feel truly seen.

Together, we instill more joy and play in the healing process, which dissolves the rigidity & seriousness that often counteracts the freedom, lightness, and openness we want to achieve.

Most people are too busy to heal.

The work we do in weekly therapy sessions often gets lost in the busyness of our lives. A retreat setting allows us to take space away from daily stressors & be immersed in a therapeutic process that can finally create lasting change.

In the safe space of a retreat, I guide individuals through an Art Therapy process that gently releases what’s been locked inside. Art becomes a mirror that reflects each person’s unique journey and provides a new perspective.

Combined with Somatic Therapy, the Art process uncovers emotions and memories that traditional talk therapy often doesn’t reach.

As you let go of the past and open up, you reclaim your story and embody softness within your resilience.

You deserve to experience the fullness of life & love.

Art therapy offers a path to move forward, heal deeply, and rediscover the light and love within you.

My childhood trauma made me feel deeply misunderstood and silenced. This fueled my passion to create spaces where people can express themselves authentically without fear, so they can feel truly understood.

This process isn’t just about offering support; it’s about providing the warmth, safety, and validation that we all deserve.

By helping you find your voice and feel seen, I extend the compassion and empathy that I always craved. In doing so, I heal alongside you!
